How is my sponsorship distributed?
87% goes directly to reducing the learner's verified school fee balance and is settled to the school's verified bank account. 13% covers running costs: Paystack charges, Termii SMS alerts, Dojah identity checks, administration, audit reports, staff, the 0800 BEYONDSKOOL toll-free line and NDPA 2023 compliance.
Do the sponsor, parent and school all receive receipts?
Yes. The sponsor receives a Sponsorship Confirmation & Impact Receipt by email and on the My Impact page. The parent or guardian receives an SMS and email showing the amount cleared and the new balance. The school receives an SMS and email credit alert, and the receipt appears in its payment ledger.
Can I remain anonymous?
Yes. Choose "Supported by an Anonymous Benefactor" or a custom name such as "Supported by The Adeleke Family Trust". Your legal identity and ID details stay private.
Why are children's names hidden?
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, no child's name, photo or parent contact details are shown. Learners appear only as a reference code with class band, school and LGA, and only after their verified guardian consents.
How do I verify my payment reached the school?
Every receipt carries a Paystack reference, date and time, and a QR code anyone can scan to confirm it. You can also track each learner's balance and school status on My Impact.
Can a sponsored child still be sent home over fees?
Never. Under the BeyondSkool Child Protection Guarantee, no covered child may be sent home, locked out of class or barred from exams over fees.
What payment methods can I use?
Payments are processed securely by Paystack: Nigerian debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve), bank transfer, USSD and internet banking.
